Art-ickles was in Fort Lauderdale:
A feast of sounds, colors, rhythms and flavors to delight everyone. This multi-disciplinary cultural event is designed to promote and celebrate the diversity of the Creole world. Dance troupes, music bands, visual artists, scholars, craftsmen and chefs of the Creole world (representing 13 countries) will disclose the richness of the Creole culture.

Beethova Obas the modern troubadour
of Creole music, Tanya St-Val the diva of the French-Caribbean
Soul-Zouk, Emeline Michel the Queen of Haitian Song and the
Canadian Cajun star Brigitte Leblanc will perform live during this
free-admission festival.
. Also on stage: Jean Coulanges,
Ayabonmbe, Jude-Papa Loko, Tamboo Bamboo, Belya, Mecca a.k.a. Grimo,
Fahrenheit, The Band Next Door and more. The beats of Rasin, Konpa,
Troubadour, Zouk, Bèlè, Cajun, Calypso, Soca music will be featured.
. Dance shows by Sosyete Koukouy
and Bambou of Senegal showcasing the richness of African and
Afro-Caribbean dances such as Yanvalou, Rabòday, Congo, Sabar, Djembe to
cite a few.
